Dentists in Wakefield-Choosing a Good Dentist in Wakefield West Yorkshire

Monday mornings are usually un-interesting, especially after the mind has vacated during the weekend, so it takes a while to get my business head on.

But today, is not a good one as I have two appointments.

The first one is with my dentist. Aggggghhh! Does anyone look forward to visiting their dentist?

Well, I do remember one Christmas having awful toothache, and I would have paid anything to visit the dentist! But I am not in pain, and am wondering whether I will be in pain when I come out. I will come back to that in a moment.

The second one is with my cardiac consultant. Six monthly checks to se if I still have a heart! I think so, but should we discuss some form of surgery?

So far I have avoided this, by medication and sensible living (just one bottle of wine a day-only joking!)

But I have the option of angioplasty or bi pass surgery. Neither appeal, but angioplasty seems less risky. If this reduces the symptoms of my medication (especially the swollen feet), I might consider it.

Back to dentists.

It occurred to me that if you are lucky enough to have an NHS dentist, you may not be too sure of the service delivery.

If you are looking to find a private dentist, choose carefully.

Firstly, do you require a general dentist, in other words, are your teeth and gums doing ok.

But what about if you need cosmetic surgery, or brace work, or implants, bridges?

My suggestion is to find a good general dentist, and let him recommend the specialists.

If you are looking for a dentist in Wakefield try Wrenthorpe Dental Care. Steve Wright runs a family business, with some prices lower than NHS prices. With two practices, one in Wakefield City centre, and one in Wrenthorpe, you have a choice of location.

There are a good choice of Dentists in Wakefield but if possible check them out including their website.
