Freedom Church Hereford - You cant Comment Unless You have been!
Unfortunately a lot of comments and have been made over this period of which some have been based on comments made on a video, taken out of context, and opinions from people that have left the church and who probably have an axe to grind. It would seem to be that genuine comments are valuable when they come from someone who has taking time to look at the background and the people involved in freedom Church Hereford.
Living near Huddersfield, I go to Freedom Church when I am in Hereford( my home town), visiting my family, which is several times a year. These are my comments:
Having visited Freedom Church Hereford several times a year, I would comments as follows:
On arriving I was met by people on the door who provided a warm welcome, and in entering the main building (this is a coffee shop-that makes great coffee!) I note lots of people of different ages, all talking with each other. There was a high level of excitement and energy similar to being in a bar having pre-concert drinks!
On passing into the main church area which too many may find that it is different to traditional church but that's fine. The service is usually around an hour and a half and contains a certain amount of praising and worship involving musicians who are particularly skilled and producing a very professional sound.
The worship was enthusiastic and there is a focus on worshipping Jesus Christ. I noted that the majority of the people were quite involved in the worship which I thought was very good.
I observed a mixture of children, young people, families and older (more mature) people. I was even introduced to two ladies both over 70 years of age! The church also runs a crèche which is really helpful for families with young children.
I spoke to several parents whose teenagers attend the church and they were very happy about the positive influence that that the teaching of the church provides. They told me that their children choose to come to Freedom Church Hereford, and in fact they can’t wait for Sunday to come!
Part of the service usually invoices something called a ‘media piece’, which is a sort video of a few minutes tat has been made to support the message of the preacher. These videos are of very high quality and reflect a level of excellence. Finally, there is someone who presents a message form the bible for around 30 manures. I have always found these messages inspiring, challenging and relevant to my life.
So instead of listening to other people’s opinions, or what has been written about in the newspaper, get your self down to a Freedom Church service and find out for yourself. I guarantee that you will be surprised, and at least you can comment form your first hand experience.
Freedom Church Hereford hold their service at 10.30pm Sundays. Visit their website for more details.
