How To Make Signage Work For You

Most companies need to use some for of signage, whether it be a sign over the premises, or some form of advertising. Depending on the type of business, they may want the sign lit up, especially if they are in a good location.

Here are 3 things to look out for to make your signage work for you.

1. Is it eye catching?
There is nothing worse than looking at a bland poster or sign that hasnt made the use of colour or images. many people could pass by it without even noticing it. Good sign manufacturers will know the 'tricks' of creating an eye catching sign.

2. Is ir fully visible to the passers by?
When positioning  the sign, make sure that the majority of people passing by   get a reasonable look a the sign. Positioning the sign is very important. If you are placing a sign to be seen by people travelling along a road, then  try to ensure that the sign is positioned at right angles to the road, allowing the people to view it fully.  Professional sign makers will provide you with some helpful advice if asked.

3.Is The sign built form long lasting and durable materials?
if your sign is likely to be outdoors, then it will be faced with enduring the british weather. This could result in damage from wind and rain as well as fast deteriation of the materials. Where possible choose materials that are suitable outdoors, such as aluminium. Again, ask your sign maker for instructions

If you want further help, you can find  some useful articles on the internet, as well as useful videos on Youtube about sign makers.
